NEMC Programs and Activities

NEMC Organization

NEMC is run by a Board of Directors, which oversees a series of committees. The Board includes five officers and  a number of Committee Heads, who meet each month to review operations and plan future events. Committees include board members as well as interested members.  Committees meet as needed. New members are encouraged to join a committee, but this is NOT a requirement.  Committees include:

    • NEMC Programs

    NEMC hosts six programs each year to which all members are invited to attend.  These programs are:

    November     Fall Membership Cocktail Party  (spouses, partners, and friends invited)
    December   Holiday Luncheon
    February     Fortnightly Thank You Party (Fortnightly chaperones also invited)
    April      Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show (friends invited)
    June     Scholarship Tea and Reception
    July    4th of July Celebration Party

    NEMC Activities

      • NEMC is a proud sponsor, as well as one of the original founders of the Evanston 4th of July Parade.  Each year NEMC participates in the parade, showcasing our community support and scholarship winners.
      • As a supporter of ESCCA, NEMC offers members opportunities throughout the year to work with ESCCA in whatever capacity is needed.
      • From time to time, additional activities are planned by NEMC, and all members are invited.  These may include social get-togethers, community work, cultural activities, or other events.
