ABOUT NEMC MEMBERSHIP
NEMC membership offers the opportunity to socialize with Evanston women who share an interest in supporting Evanston youth. Philanthropic efforts annually support organizations providing services to the youth of Evanston. Additionally, becoming a Board member allows more involvement in directing Club activities.
All are welcome
Though called the North End Mothers' Club by virtue of its North Evanston roots, the Club is open to ALL Evanston women. New members are welcome to join at any time of the year.
Some of our annual events include a spring luncheon, a spring/summer Scholarship Reception to honor our scholarship winners, festivities around the Evanston July 4th Parade, a fall cocktail party, and a holiday luncheon.
Annual membership dues are $50.
From time to time, additional activities are planned by NEMC, and all members are invited. These may include social get-togethers, community work, cultural activities, or other events. Annual events include:
May/June: Scholarship Reception to honor our scholarship winners.
July 4th Parade: We march with our banners and the Bagpipe Band—a Central Street crowd pleaser!
November: Fall Membership Cocktail Party (spouses, partners, friends, and those interested in exploring membership are invited)
December: Holiday Luncheon
April: Annual Meeting and Spring Luncheon. A lovely afternoon for members, guests and those interested in exploring membership.

WHY JOIN NEMC
A philanthropic spirit
with a warm welcome
From one new member: "I had heard of NEMC but really didn't know how embedded these women were in my community! From the 4th of July Parade to all the great things I'd heard about Fortnightly—all thanks to NEMC. I had the chance to volunteer on a project and was impressed by the warmth and passion for our community's youth. Very nice to see a group of women come together around a cause and have fun, too."
